Meeting Schedule
Same day, same time, same room. It hasn't changed since 1962 and it isn't about to.
Every week
Tuesdays12:00 – 1:00pm
You walk in, someone hands you a name tag and probably a coffee. Lunch is served around 12:05. There's usually a speaker or a bit of club business, and it's over by one so everyone can get back to work.
You'll be asked your name. You will not be asked for money, and nobody will phone you afterwards unless you ask them to.
Nervous about walking in cold? Call Diane on (864) 555-0142 and she'll meet you at the door.
The board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in Room B at the Community Center. Any member is welcome to observe — you don't need an invitation, and you don't need to say anything.
Minutes are circulated to members by email within a week. Ask any board member for a copy.
Fundraising
Between them they fund the hearing aid fund, the scholarships, and every project we take on.
Four hundred plates out of a fire station in four hours. Our oldest tradition and our biggest single day — it funds most of the hearing aid fund on its own.
$18,400 raised in 2025
Four-person scramble at Jurupa Hills. Hole sponsorships start at $250 and sell out most years — this is the easiest way for a local business to back us.
$22,700 raised in 2025
The one where you meet the students. Underwritten by table sponsors, and it funds the following year's awards — so the room pays for the next room.
$11,900 raised in 2025
